A hand-thrown dipping bowl made from medium-textured stoneware clay that fires to a sand colour. The inside is glazed in satin white using a brush to achieve a layered, organic finish. The exterior is left unglazed, highlighting the exposed clay. Subtle spiral details are added to the bottom of the bowl.
The shape of the bowl is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, inspired by the form of a rice bowl.
