Tiny salt shaker in speckle cream
The star of the show—these tiny hand-thrown salt shakers are made from medium-textured stoneware clay that fires to a sand colour. The clay is thrown into a one-piece closed form using two fingers only, which is later opened and trimmed into a little hollow dome shape. The bottom has a tiny footing and a hole for refilling the salt, sealed with a carved, recycled wine bottle cork. There are three small holes at the top, just big enough to let a limited amount of salt trickle out because there’s nothing worse than an over-salted breakfast egg. The exterior is glazed in speckle cream, making a cute match with your breakfast egg. A handful of other colours are also available.
Lovely in combination with the little egg cup holders, created to give these little guys company.
Size · Diameter: 3cm, Height: 3cm
Each item is handmade and shows unique marks from the crafting process.
While all items are dishwasher and food safe, I recommend hand washing them for a longer lifespan.
