Porcelain cup hand painted No. 2
Part of my more playful porcelain range, these cups are hand-painted using different brush sizes and colours to achieve an individual and intuitive mix of abstract forms for each pot. The painting can be influenced by things that inspire me at the time or my mood, so no two pieces will look the same.
The inside, and sometimes part of the exterior of the pot is decorated and then sealed inside only with a clear, shiny transparent glaze. This preserves the beautiful porcelain white, makes the colours pop and also highlights the original matte and buttery smooth porcelain look and feel.
The shape is designed to fit comfortably in one hand.
